Prof. Vatsala has been associated with some of the oldest higher education institutions of India, including, Govt. RC College, established in 1948, Vijaya College, established in 1942, and NMKRV College. She has done an M.A.and M.Phil. in English literature from Bangalore University. Her M.Phil. thesis has been on “Improving Reading Skills”.
She is also got her certification for the train the trainer program from Dale Carnegie Institute, and as an NLP practitioner.
