Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied, so all workshops and assessments purchased from the Talkingtown, provided the request meets the guidelines in our refund policy. 

Certain restrictions may apply, and some purchases may only be eligible for refunds. For more information regarding our refund policy, please see below.

How to submit a refund request

Please email your refund request to info@talkingtown.co with the subject line – Refund for <Product Name> purchased on < Date of purchase>

Product name is the product’s name, such as a workshop or English assessment test. 

The Date of purchase is the Date of payment made for the purchase of the product.

Services

Talkingtown is offering two services 

  1. Workshops: Workshops will be delivered by Talkingtown’s empanelled coaches either through online or offline mode. 
  1. English assessment test: an online test developed to assess test taker’s English proficiency level. 

Refund policy

Refund policy for workshops

  1. No refunds will be made after the Date of the workshop commencement or delivery. 
  2. Refund requests will only be accepted seven days before the workshop commencement date. 
  3. The users will not be eligible for refunds who have enrolled on workshops using a referral or discount coupon on the workshop fee. 
  4. The users who have already made three or more refund requests will not be eligible for refunds.
  5. Refunds will be processed at the company’s discretion only for the users who have made a refund request seven days before the workshop commencement date.
  6. If you are not satisfied with the service delivery, the company will decide to refund the participant(s) based on collective feedback from all the participants. 

Refund policy for English proficiency assessment

  1. No refund request will be accepted once the user has completed the online test. 
  2. The individuals, who have taken the test using the test key, will not be eligible for a refund. 
  3. If the user couldn’t complete the test due to a technical glitch in our system, we will provide a reattempt free of cost. To avail free reattempts, the user will give required system logs or screenshots or any other information requested by Talkingtown team to troubleshoot the issue.
  4. The refund request will be processed if, despite three reattempts, the user still faces the technical glitches caused by Talkingtown and cooperated with Talkingtown team to troubleshoot the problem 
  5. The refunds will be processed at the discretion of Talkingtown. 

Process 

  1. Talkingtown will notify the user over email in the event of acceptance or rejection of a refund request. 
  2. Successful refund requests will be processed within 30 days or request acceptance. 
  3. Refunds will be made to the Bank account details provided by the user. 
  4. Refunds will be made to the Indian Bank account only. 

By purchasing any product and services from the Talkingtown website or app, you confirm that you have carefully read the refund policy and abide by it.
